Season Two, Reboot

As you can imagine, this season did not unfold as planned. But community isn’t just about the place you live: it’s about a feeling that you are welcome, connected and part of something larger than any one individual. While our journey may be taking a detour, we remain committed to supporting local artists, exploration, and to building your collection. Together.

This is Season Two, Rebooted:

In an effort to continue supporting our artists and building our community, we’re making a few adjustments.

  • Conversations and convenings with leaders in the field, artists, and educators. From discussing the pressures that artists face today to interactive and collaborative art-making–with cocktails–let’s mix it up.

  • Creative collaborations that range from analog and material to euphonic and digital mediums.

  • The announcement of our fourth commissioned artist of the season. One hint: identity.

  • A fifth artist commission for Season Two Commissioner Collectors. With events postponed and canceled through spring, we are with you in wanting to make a difference for artists, and are reallocating our events budget to commission an additional work of art for you.

  • Season Two Patron and Alumni memberships will also be extended for another season, and Alumni will be invited to participate in the special commission. We've got you.

We're also committed to spreading the word about artistrelief.org to visual artists, poets, writers, musicians, dancers and creatives in our network and around the country.  And we're going to encourage support of artist funding programs.  We hope you’ll join us in sharing the information and spreading the news.
