Join us for happy hour at Sunny’s Steakhouse before hopping across the street to Primary for a private preview of Good Company, Piero Penizzotto’s new solo exhibition.

Piero is a Peruvian-American artist born and based in Queens, New York. Growing up between New York and South Florida, his sculptural practice is an ode to friendships and community. Piero recently graduated from Hunter College with honors with a Bachelor’s in Fine Art, and previous exhibitions include White Columns, Public Access Gallery, and Primary.

A homecoming of sorts for both the artist and Commissioner, we’re excited to welcome you to Primary’s live/work/residency space. Our curatorial partners since launching in 2018, Primary is a research and context-driven collective with a particular focus on public art and growing audiences and collections.

Conveniently located across the street from Sunny’s Steakhouse, reopening this month as one of Miami’s most beloved plein-air eateries, we’ll meet up there for complimentary crafted libations before walking to the gallery.
