We are over the moon to announce Luna Palazzolo-Daboul as our third commissioned artist of Season Seven!
Luna's work focuses primarily on sculpture and installation as well as video performance, painting, and digital technology. Influenced by the minimalist movements of the 1960s and 70s, South American folk culture, Beat Generation poets, and the philosophical works of Ernest Becker, Mary Wollstonecraft, and Mark Twain, she explores themes of morality, identity, and the human condition.
Luna is also the founder of Tunnel Projects—a beloved artist-run project space that offers affordable studios, peer critiques, exhibitions, and curatorial opportunities. Since opening in 2022 in Little Havana, Tunnel Projects has welcomed some of the most exciting emerging artists of our time, including Commissioner collaborators and artist scholars Nicole Combeau, Anna Gorackzo, Najja Moon, Cornelius Tulloch, and Carrington Ware.Learn more
