Cornelius Tulloch is our second commissioned artist of Season Seven.
We’re thrilled to kick off a New Year with the artist transcending the boundaries of photography, fine art, and architecture. A Commissioner collaboration years in the making, we’ve seen firsthand how much of Cornelius’s approach has been grounded in his upbringing and communities in Miami and inspired by his Jamaican and African-American heritage. Expressing the ways in which bodies exist between cultures and borders, he seeks to redefine and reshape the boundaries of art and space.
Join us for the reveal we’ve been waiting for! This event is open for all members. Capacity is limited, first come, first served.
Cornelius’s work has been presented in institutions such as CUE Art Foundation in New York, Locust Projects and Faena Art Project Room in Miami, and the MAXXI in Rome. It is also part of the permanent collection of the Studio Museum in Harlem. Cornelius has won numerous prizes and residencies, including Brooklyn Museum and the 2024 Artist Laureate for the Bakehouse x Cité Internationale des Arts residency in Paris, France.
