Join us on Saturday, March 5 at 3 PM at The Underline’s River Room—the northernmost terminus on the Miami River—for a celebratory afternoon with the second commissioned artist of the season Juana Valdes. As a person of Afro Caribbean heritage, her work analyzes and decodes experiences of migration through printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics and site-specific installations. It’s only fitting that Juana's reveal take place near the water, with music, libations, culture and creativity to set the vibe. We can’t wait to be together again. This event is for Collector and Patrons members, RSVP is essential at juanavaldes.eventbrite.com.
3 PM | Welcome
