The time is here! On January 19, 2020 Emmy Award-winning show Art Loft (@artloftsfl) Season Nine featuring Commissioner’s very own videos will air at 7:30 PM ET for “The Art of Collecting Art”, featuring respected gallerist and dealer David Castillo (@davidcastillogallery), remarkable funder and collector Bahia Ramos (@newyorkbah), and more.

In partnership with South Florida PBS (@wpbt2), Commissioner is thrilled for the opportunity to share our stories about collecting collaboratively and local contemporary artists with broader audiences. The stories we tell and the ideas we amplify are essential to widening the dialogue around arts patronage, and to providing more entry points for people to meet and support artists where they're at. Together we’re reimagining the model, now let’s shift the narrative.

About Art Loft

Art Loft is an Emmy® award-winning weekly 30-minute program on WPBT and WXEL. In collaboration with local makers and PBS partner stations across the country, Art Loft is the pulse of what’s happening in our own backyard as well as the contemporary art scene across the United States. The production profiles both established and up-and-coming artists, endowed art institutions, fine art collectors and cultural collectives. It also gives viewers a backstage look into events like Art Basel, the gold standard for the international arts scene. Since 2013 Art Loft has been documenting the stories of South Florida’s art scene. Commissioner is thrilled to be part of that story.
