Passages & Pathways to the Cypress Dome
On January 28, we celebrated the opening of Passages, a group exhibit featuring 2022 AIRIE fellows curated by Cornelius Tulloch at Nest Gallery. After the show and lunch on the terrace, we went on a magical wet hike through the Everglades' most alluring habitat: the cypress dome. Approximately 50 adventurous folks from our community waded through the wonder of a shady submerged forest alive with ferns, air plants, and wildlife. Along with Everglades National Park Ranger Olivia, AIRIE fellow Arsimmer McCoy guided us through an artistic interpretation of this unique landscape. The slough slog is a bucket list experience for any local.
Big thanks to Liquid Death and to the entire AIRIE team for their partnership.
