Commissioner celebrated the launch of its inaugural season on October 2 at Typoe’s solo exhibition space, “Tired of Eating Pigeons,” surrounded by the artists, advocates, creatives, leaders, thinkers and future art collectors of Miami. From the peeps behind BLCK Family, CIC, Diaspora Vibe Gallery, Fountainhead Residency and Miami Light Project to PRIZM Art Fair, Prism Music Group, Third Horizon, Wyncode, YoungArts and too many more to mention, the main questions of the night were: What’s Typoe creating for Commissioner’s Collectors? Who’s the next Commissioner artist? When will more Collector and Patron spots be opened?
