Commissioner is reimagining the model with a more accessible approach to collecting art.
In the course of a season from October to June, Collectors receive commissioned artwork from at least four contemporary artists and learn about collecting, artists, and the stories unique to our city. Patrons access season-long programming and events, and help support our vision for a more artist-invested Miami.
Collectors receive four original and/or limited editions of the program’s artist commission per season; and participate in curated experiences with artists, fellow collectors, and local galleries, institutions, and partners.
$1,800 annual or $550 quarterly payments includes:
1 original and limited edition work per quarter
Invitations for two to intimate experiences with artists, galleries, and collectors
Selection of Miami Art Week passes
Access to archive commissioned works
Early access to Commissioner programs, art travel, and events
Patrons participate in curated experiences with artists, galleries, institutions, and partners; and are invited behind the scenes to learn more about the artmaking process and the art of collecting. Join solo as an individual member, or purchase a pass for two for the option to bring a guest. You can now also share the Patron experience by sponsoring a membership for an arts worker* in our community.
$120 for dual or $90 individual membership includes:
