Hop on a rumba bus, but make it public art. For our first-ever tour on wheels, we’re partnering with multidisciplinary artist Naomi Fisher to spill the tea on the sites and stories of our city. Join us as we hop from one neighborhood to another learning about the artists and works that help shape Miami’s visual and cultural identity.

Over the last decade, Naomi’s practice has focused on large-scale public art projects, and to nurturing Miami-rooted artists through her organization, Bas Fisher Invitational (BFI). This work helped inform the popular WEIRD MIAMI bus tours, which offer a behind-the-scenes look at the city and its artistic offerings. “Artists think differently,” explains Naomi. “WEIRD MIAMI participants not only get to see and learn about sites in Miami they may have never visited before, but they also get to see the city through the artist’s eyes.” 

Plus, expect a pit stop to support one of our favorite local eateries, Jrk! Think Jamaican patties, frozen drink, and a backdoor passage to MANGROVE lounge.
