New World School of the Arts Visual Art Honors programs work with different mentors throughout the academic year to create work for this special exhibition named In Transit. Students participating in the NWSA Honors, High School and College programs are selected based on their current GPA and by nomination of NWSA faculty. Once the students are invited to join the Honors program, they participate in special events, lectures and critiques with invited artists and scholars. In Transit, the group exhibit, is the culmination of their body of work.
Free and open to all, the exhibition is on view April 22–May 6, 2022. For more information, visit nwsa.mdc.edu.
Thanks to the support of Mitchell Wolfson Sr Foundation, we partner with New World School of the Arts to connect Commissioner’s aspiring art collector base with the next generation of emerging and accomplished visual artists and photographers.
